Join our team in Leipzig as a Food & Beverage Innovation Specialist (m/f/d). In this role, you will drive biotechnological innovation projects from early ideas to market, connecting our cutting-edge biotechnology platform with customer insights, sustainability goals, and business strategy to deliver real, scalable products and disruptive industrial solutions.
Your focus will be on innovation management and project coordination in industrial biotechnology, with a strong emphasis on food and beverage applications. You will identify, evaluate, and develop new product opportunities through structured research, strategic analysis, and creative exploration. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure effective communication across diverse stakeholders, and build strong relationships within the Kerry Group as well as across the wider food industry to advance our innovation pipeline from concept to commercialization.

How will you create impact:
- As part of the Product Innovation team, you will help us identify, evaluate and manage product development opportunities in the food and beverage sector.
- You will act as a bridge between R&D, marketing, product management, operations, and external partners to drive portfolio success.
- You prepare compelling presentations on the technical and commercial evaluation of product ideas and project concepts for senior management and potential industry partners.
- You will coordinate cross-functional innovation projects.
- You will build and maintain networks within the F&B industry, e.g. by participating in international conferences & trade shows (less than 15% travel required).
Your Profile:
- Education:
- Academic degree in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, food science or a related field.
- Experience:
- Ideally some experience in food industry or industrial biotechnology and basic understanding of its relevance.
- Work style:
- Optimistic, creative problem-solver with a strategic and forward-thinking mindset
- Proactive, ambitious, able to work independently and in a team
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Languages: Fluent in English, with German skills considered a plus
