Would you like to work in a modern production environment, take on responsibility, and actively contribute to the manufacturing of innovative biotechnological products?
Then you are exactly right for us. Together, we produce innovative enzymes, drive forward new processes, and ensure that our biotechnological products successfully transition from pilot scale to industrial production.
At our Leipzig site, the Kerry Biotechnology Centre at Alte Messe, around 130 employees work in a modern research and production environment. In addition to our R&D activities, we operate our own pilot and production facility, where biotechnological processes are scaled up and prepared for industrial application.
Our production team is a key part of this value chain and plays a decisive role in reliably transferring innovative products into application.
In production, biotechnological products are manufactured in our in-house pilot and production facility as a precursor to external large-scale industrial production.
Work in the production team typically alternates weekly between shift work (including occasional night shifts) and flexible working hours, with weekend work required approximately once per quarter.
This position is intentionally designed as a stable, long-term role in production and involves operational tasks within clearly defined processes that may vary depending on the product and production requirements.
Reliability and a strong team fit are particularly important for success in this role.
If, on the other hand, you are aiming for a strongly career-driven path with a short-term move into other functions (e.g., R&D, engineering, or management), this position may not be the best fit.
The role is designed for long-term engagement in a production environment.
